SF Bay Area PTI held a gathering on June 17, 2023 to pray for the success of Imran Khan. The event was held at the Mehran Restaurant Newak CA. 
Nigar Raza was MC of the event mainly sponsored by Tajwar Sajjad. Maryam Turab was event organizer.
The colorful program included naat khwani and special prayers.
Firdos Kamran presented extensive dua.
Speakers at the gathering expressed deep concern over the current situation in Pakistan particularly illegal and undemocratic moves against Imran Khan.
They also expressed concern over the anti-state activities by certain people in the army.
They pointed out that all Pakistanis support its army which is the guarantor of the territorial integrity of Pakistan. But recent moves by certain faction of the army are not commendable.
The speakers also denounced government actions against independent journalists. Particularly the disappearance of Imran Riyaz Khan and assassination of Arshad Sharif.
